ABOUT
Sonorama Records is an independent and worldwide distributed reissue label for rare jazz, funk and soul music. It is all about music archaeology, an infinite search for soulful sounds, about tracing unrestricted musical diversity and the love for good music in general. All our CD & vinyl releases are distributed by Groove Attack for international availability. You can visit our shop for buying physical products or downloads. The use of legal sources for downloading instead of killing future releases with the help of some rotten pirate sites is highly appreciated.

As a main goal the label maintains direct networking with cutting edge artists, producers, promoters and publishers, for providing vanished but highly memorable music in the form of a timeless and open minded treasure chest. Clearing all recordings ourselves, we try to bring you original versions from the master tapes, remastered stuff from the shelves aswell as authorized remixes by contemporary international artists and producers on high quality vinyl, from LPs over EPs to seven inch 45s. All our releases get a careful sound restoration and remastering, mostly at 24 bit/ 48 khz. CD albums are released in various Digipack formats and include original LP or unique compilation artworks. Also look out for special CD compilations encompassing previous "vinyl only" tracks.

In case you cannot find our items at your local dealer, please use the mail order function on our website. Regarding special dealer rates, marketing, DJ booking or licensing, please contact us under info@sonorama.de. If the title you wish to order is out of stock here, check with our distributors and partners or on the worldwide web to hunt down your copy. The situation does not enable us to frequently re-press every title and format for making it available at every point of time. Sorry, but we keep trying.

For many years we love to collect and play a vast range of rare vinyl records at home or for DJ use, then started to work on own releases for sharing the love. Sonorama is generally interested in what you think it is all about, so feel free to drop us a line to tell us about you and your wishes, and of course do not forget to register for our newsletter. Any idea, help or the sincere interest in our artists is appreciated here. Wanna have a last precise comment on today`s music market? Just to finish it off here with the zeitgeist argument of Elsa (Elsie) Bianchi from February 2004: "In the 60s they needed a few hours to make a record, now they need a few month".
